![]() ![]() I could be answering my own question here but it seems the Lenova is the better choice for music other than the fact it's a business laptop lol. The Lenova seems to be louder when I'm playing music but the Toshiba's volume control is also broken. Both have a 320 GB HD, not sure if it matters but I thought I'd include it just in case. ![]() The laptop I found is a Toshiba with a intel pentium 2.2GHz dual core processor and 6 GB of ram and the business laptop is a Lenova Thinkpad with an i3 2.3GHz processor and 4 GB of ram. I went through the house and found a better laptop and my friend gave me his business laptop (not sure if it's good for music). It was decent but not good enough for music. I'm a Hip-Hop artist and I know how to mix very well but on my old laptop which was an Asus without a disk drive Reaper kept crashing after I inserted a lot of FX and plugins. I'll be using Reaper as my recording and mixing DAW and on occasions I'll be using Ableton Live 9 Suite as my producing DAW. I'm also new to recording with equipment (I know how to do it I just never owned an audio interface until now) so I want to know which laptop would be the best for what I'm doing. I plan on staying here since I've found a lot of helpful tips in the past. Hey guys I'm new to the forums and I have a question regarding which laptop would be best for my music computer. ![]()
